Kenneth T. Kubiesa has been practicing municipal, corporate and business law in DuPage County for 30 years. He is the City Attorney for the Cities of Elmhurst and Oakbrook Terrace, and the Village Attorney for the Village of Oak Brook. He is general counsel for many park districts and various other local government agencies and special districts in the Chicago metro area.  His practice includes representation of banks, not-for-profits, individuals and businesses, including corporations and partnerships, primarily in the western suburbs of Chicago. He also represents local governments, underwriters and banks in public finance transactions in amounts up to $100 million. Ken also has been the Chairman of an Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission Hearing Panel, a Director of the Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities and Director of the Elmhurst Economic Development Commission.

Ken received his law degree (J.D.) from Loyola University Chicago and his undergraduate degree (B.A. with honors) from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is the author of a number of published articles concerning local government law and has spoken on local government and public finance subjects before a number of groups many times. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association, the Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois, the Home Rule Attorneys Committee of the Illinois Municipal League and the Illinois Association of Park Districts.
