KSGA&D has an active litigation practice in the state and federal trial courts, and the appellate courts. Our attorneys handle general civil litigation and appeals in all of our practice areas. We represent individuals, businesses, local governments in litigation and appeals. The lawyers of KSGA&D are members of the federal trial bar for the Northern District of Illinois, the bar of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.

KSGA&D represents municipalities regarding the defense of personal injury and property damage claims, administrative agency appeals, prosecution of ordinance violations, and the representation of various corporate clients in business litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, principally in Illinois. When representing local governments, we have been highly successful in the cases we have taken to trial. KSGA&D also represents defendants in various types of administrative litigation, including matters before the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the Illinois Commerce Commission and others. Through our relationship with John B. Adams as "of counsel" to the firm, KSGA&D provides workers compensation defense legal services to our self-insured municipal clients.
