Kenneth Kubiesa is included in the Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace (also known as the "Red Book") as a qualified bond counsel. Mr. Kubiesa has represented various municipalities, park districts, underwriters and bond purchasers regarding over $250 million of public financings over the past 20 years. These public financings include general obligation and revenue issues, tax anticipation warrants and private activity bonds for not-for-profit organizations. His clients have included the City of Elmhurst, Village of Wayne, Oakbrook Terrace, Fifth Third Bank, Fifth Third Securities, Inc., Everen Securities, Robert W. Baird and the Ray Graham Association.
As bond counsel for local governments throughout suburban Chicago, KSGA&D has issued approving legal opinions for many different types of bond issues, including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, refunding bonds, rollover bonds, and tax increment financing bonds. We represent issuers, underwriters and as bond counsel for public financings of up to $100 million.
